At Monarch Meadow Vineyard all our bottles are recycled on premise into hand safe glass sand that is then used for our vineyard management and gardens.

We leave large areas of our acreage undisrupted throughout the year to leave ample room for native pollinator natural habitat. June through September our family operates a Rescue, Raise, Release program for monarch butterflies, saving eggs and caterpillars from areas that they would be destroyed or poisoned such as crop fields and road ways. We appreciate the Farmers that call us to save our beloved winged guests!

Visitors can tour the hatchery on site, see live butterfly releases, and learn about the power of protecting the pollinators.

We offer free milkweed seeds to all guests as well as education about how planting milkweed will help limit the migration of the spotted lantern fly.

Our commitment to lowering our carbon footprint starts in our Tasting Room, where our main plates and dishware is either reusable or compostable, and our kitchen scraps are composed into soil that is then used to fertilize the vineyard and herb gardens
